Story

Arun, an IT professional, was living a simple but ambitious life. His life takes a turn when he falls in love with Diya. Diya is the daughter of Raghunathan, a successful and influential businessman, and his wife Malathi. Arun convinces his parents for the marriage, and Raghunathan happily accepts their daughter’s relationship. Soon Arun and Diya get married, and they go to Lisbon for their honeymoon.

After a happy time spent in Lisbon, their lives suddenly turn into turmoil when they plan to return to India. Diya is arrested after drugs are found in her suitcase. At the same time, after a real gun is found in Arun’s pocket, he is also taken into custody. Both of them realize that this is all part of a conspiracy, and someone is framing them. Diya is sent to jail, while Arun is kept in police custody.

Malthi, angry at this incident, accuses Arun of deliberately trapping Diya by taking her to Lisbon. Meanwhile, Raghunathan is convinced that Arun is innocent and this is all a revenge plot. He pacifies Malathi and appoints ACP Vishwanath to investigate the case. ACP Vishwanath does not find any clue in this complex case. Angered, he asks the Portuguese police to release Arun and Diya immediately. After release, Arun and Diya return to India, but for some unknown reason they have a fight and their relationship breaks up.

It is then a big revelation in the story that Diya’s ex-boyfriend Pradeep had hatched this conspiracy. He did this because Diya had slapped him publicly in a mall. Pradeep had planted drugs in Diya’s suitcase and a gun in Arun’s pocket while both were drinking coffee. With the help of Portuguese gangsters, he executed his plan without leaving any evidence.

When Arun learns the truth, he angrily searches for Pradeep on the streets of Chennai. A fierce fight takes place between the two, in which Arun kills Pradeep and takes revenge for ruining Diya’s life. Later, Arun and Diya reunite after clearing their mutual misunderstandings.

But the story does not end here. Another big revelation is that Diya’s stepfather Raghunathan was also involved in this conspiracy. He had planned to murder Diya to grab her property and become the richest man in the world. In a flashback, it is shown that Raghunathan had killed Diya’s real father and replaced him.

Hearing this truth, Malathi and Diya hate Raghunathan and leave him forever. She tells Arun to kill Raghunathan. Arun, who had always respected Raghunathan, kills him with a sad heart. At the end of the story, Arun and Diya give a new beginning to their relationship, but this story teaches the audience that truth and love are above every conspiracy and difficulty.

Nesippaya Movie Review

Nesippaya is a thrilling love story in which love, intrigue and revenge are the main elements. The story revolves around Arun and Diya, whose lives suddenly get entangled in a dangerous conspiracy during their honeymoon. From the prisons of Portugal to the streets of Chennai, the film takes the audience on an emotional and thriller journey.

The first part of the film, which shows Arun and Diya’s love story and marriage, keeps the audience engaged. But the real twist comes when both are accused of possessing drugs and weapons. The layers of the conspiracy slowly unravel and Pradeep’s return to Diya’s life becomes a big turning point. Raghunathan’s real face being revealed in the story shocks the audience. Seeing a villain instead of a father makes the film more interesting.

The acting of the film is excellent. Arun’s anger, Diya’s helplessness and Malathi’s pain have been shown well. The direction and background music add depth to the story. However, at some places the story seems a bit stretched. Overall, Nesippaya is an interesting film which is a must watch for thriller and romance lovers.
