Story
Ram Nandan completed the process of becoming a district magistrate through the UPSC exam and left for his posting in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. But on the way, they are attacked by a gang sent by their college rival. The rival sand mining operation takes place under Andhra Pradesh minister Bobbili Mopidevi, son of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Bobbili Satyamoorthy and younger brother of Home Minister Bobbili Munimanikyam.
Mopidevi has always aspired to become the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, but fears that the post may go to his elder brother, as he is Satyamoorthy’s first son. This family conflict has caused deep anxiety and jealousy in Mopidevi’s mind. The arrival of Ram Nandan was a threat to Mopidevi and her associates, as Ram intended to run the administration honestly, which could expose his corruption.
Ram Nandan reaches his posting and starts work in the district. The very next day, he calls all the culprits in a meeting to stop the wrongdoings going on in the district. At first he politely appeals to them to stop their wrongdoings, but they consider him a joke and his words have no effect. After this Ram realizes that mere words will do nothing, and he will have to take a drastic step.
Ram Nandan captures one of these criminals and takes him to one of their warehouses, where they claim that they are selling rice. But what Ram finds there exposes their entire plan. Instead of rice, they find drugs in the warehouse, which these people were smuggling. This proves that these criminals are not only involved in sand mining but also in the drug trade. Ram now has to decide that he will take concrete action against these criminals, so that their corruption and illegal activities can be ended in the district.
This story not only shows the honesty and heroism of Ram Nandan, but it also symbolizes the fight against corruption. This decision of Ram Nandan and his courage shows that sometimes drastic steps have to be taken to follow the path of truth and justice, especially when you are dealing with a corrupt system.

Review
Once upon a time, there came into the cinematic world a film called Game Changer, which promised to be a high-energy political drama. However, it proved to be an ordinary film, relying mainly on Ram Charan’s strong acting and occasionally Thaman’s background music.
The story seems quite ordinary in the first half of the film, which consists of a love story which does not attract the audience much and the humor also seems ineffective. But as the story progresses, it takes some interesting turns, especially near the interval.
The real magic happens when the second half of the film starts with a wonderful 20-minute flashback, which reminds us of Shankar’s old style. The film catches us in these few moments, but as soon as the flashback ends, The film again falls back into the same old political tropes and by the end it becomes a generic and tired melodrama.
The film uses many old clichés of political films, making it seem boring and outdated at times. Despite this, Ram Charan does a great job in the flashbacks, and his character definitely becomes another milestone in his acting journey. In the rest of the film, Ram Charan’s character is that of a normal IAS officer, which is an easy role for him.
Thaman’s music proves to be an asset to the film, especially when it doesn’t turn excessively noisy. The production values are also good, especially during the songs. The film is better than Indian 2, but it cannot be considered Shankar’s comeback, because his writing and direction have lagged behind this time and the entire film depends on the music and Ram Charan’s acting. Overall, this film is just okay.
