Review

Praveenkoodu Shapu was eagerly awaited by the audience, and the film lived up to the expectations in many aspects, but also fell short in some respects. Lulu PVR received mixed reactions from the audience after the show. Some scenes of the film were described as spectacular. Shyju Khalid’s cinematography is excellent and gives a unique visual experience to the film. Also, Vishnu Vijay’s music and sound design further adds to the technical strength of the film. However, the weak construction of the story and lack of thriller prevents it from being an “edge of the seat” experience.

One viewer gave the film a 3/5 rating, saying that it was technically excellent, especially its sound design and cinematography. But the story and plot of the film is weak. This is an ordinary thriller, which does not have the power to keep the audience engaged till the end. The casting of Chandni Sreedharan was considered a wrong decision, while Soubin Shaheer and Basil Joseph gave satisfactory performances in their roles. The film presents an intriguing murder mystery, but its weak script and complexity diminish the impact of the story.

Although the climax of the film and the reason behind the murder are satisfying, it fails to hold the entire experience. The audience definitely liked some moments of light humor. Overall, Praveenkoodu Shapu is an average film, which is technically strong but does not hold much ground in its story.

Conclusion,

Praveenkoodu Shaapu is a film that stands out because of its unique approach and technical excellence. Shyju Khalid’s cinematography and Vishnu Vijay’s sound design give a different dimension to the film. The setup of the film and the initial mystery of the murder is quite impressive, but as the story progresses, its complex script and weak execution hold it back. Parts of the film are entertaining and accurate, especially its comedy-filled scenes, which succeed in making the audience laugh. But when it comes to thrill and mystery, the film does not leave the desired impact.

The revelations about the reason for the murder and the ending in the climax give satisfaction to the audience, but it fails to completely cover up the weak aspects of the film. The casting also gets mixed reactions. Soubin Shaheer and Basil Joseph have performed well in their roles, but audiences have mixed opinions about Chandni Sreedharan.

Overall, Praveenkoodu Shapu is an average film, which despite being technically and visually impressive, shows weaknesses in the story. It can be seen, but it is unable to affect you for long.
