Story
Koti, a deaf and mute man, lives with his sister Devi in Kanniyakumari and does odd jobs to earn a living. After losing their parents in the devastating 2004 tsunami, Koti and Devi were sheltered by a compassionate local church pastor. Despite his physical disability, Koti has a strong sense of justice against violence against women. He uses his physical strength to punish criminals, which often gets him into trouble.
Tina, who is a local guide, has a crush on Koti since childhood, but Koti remains indifferent towards her. Tina continues to tease Coty repeatedly, and even when he reacts to her with physical aggression, she continues to try to get closer to him. Tina’s parents disagree with her feelings, but she ignores them. Tina once helped Coty when he got a liquor store near the church closed down. After this Koti develops a soft spot for Tina. With Tina and Devi’s help, Koti gets a job as a security guard and assistant at the Meera Orphanage, which is run by Saradha Devi. Koti forms strong bonds with the orphanage children, especially the girls who are blind.
One day, Koti discovers that three workers, taking advantage of the girls’ physical disabilities, stare at them while they bathe. Seeing this despicable act, Koti is filled with anger and he brutally kills the two criminals. He surrenders to the police, which deeply shocks Devi, as she hates her brother resorting to violence. In court, Koti does not explain why he killed the criminals, which makes the judge angry and immediately sentences him. Special Sub Inspector, Kathiravan is handed over the investigation of the case. Kathiravan fails to find out the reason behind Koti’s crime and tries to conduct a narco-analysis test, but Koti does not reveal anything even in an inebriated state.
Since there is no concrete evidence against Koti, he gets bail. After being released on bail, Koti works hard to find the third criminal who managed to escape, so that he can take revenge on him. Devi becomes upset with Koti’s violent pursuit. Kathiravan delves into Koti’s past and discovers that Devi is not his real sister. He uses this information to emotionally influence Devi to get Koti to reveal the truth. But Koti remains silent because he fears that if the truth comes out, the honor of the girls at the orphanage may be tarnished.
Finally, Koti locates the third criminal and kills him, by cutting off his reproductive organs. This brutal crime creates an uproar in the community. When Kathiravan re-evaluates the narco-analysis recordings, he discovers that the three criminals were indeed abusing the girls. He gives this information to the judge and arranges for the girls to secretly testify in court. The judge, now knowing the true circumstances of the case, orders Koti’s release, saying that it is not right to convict on circumstantial evidence alone. The orphanage children and the local community are happy with Koti’s release, but Devi, who does not know the truth, takes her own life thinking that Koti will be hanged, which leaves Koti completely broken.

Review
The film offers a mixed experience, with some great moments. The film seems a bit sluggish in the beginning, but gradually picks up pace and reaches a satisfying finale. The most standout aspect of the film is undoubtedly the acting. The lead actor has given an extraordinary performance, portraying the relationship between a disabled man and his adopted sister very subtly, making the audience connect with their emotions.
Additionally, the supporting cast also performs very well, leaving a deep and emotional impact on the story. However, despite these great performances, the film’s slow start may put off some viewers. Nevertheless, those who remain patient are in for a rewarding and thought-provoking cinema trip.
