Review

There has been a mixed reaction from the audience regarding the film Daku Maharaj. Regarding this film, some called it a mass entertainer, while some also expressed their disappointment about it. Come, let us know the audience’s opinion about this film.

A viewer described the film as a routine South Indian film, where the hero struggles to save a village or a family. There was some backstory and high-electric scenes, but there was nothing particularly new in the story of the film.

Positive aspects:

  • Balakrishna’s performance
  • Thaman’s brilliant background score
  • No over-dedication between the hero and other characters
  • There were no unnecessary romantic scenes between the hero and heroine
  • All the ‘elevation’ scenes worked well because of Balakrishna’s screen presence.

Negative aspects:

  • The hero wins every time in the film, as happens in most South Indian films.
  • Some emotions did not work properly.
  • Some scenes of the second half seemed boring.
  • Many villains were there just to enhance the story and show more fights.
  • There was a lack of logic in some scenes.

Another viewer changed his opinion after watching the film. He was not a fan of Balakrishna earlier, but this film completely changed his perspective. The background music (BGM) of the film was superb and Balakrishna’s hard work was clearly visible in every scene. There was nothing boring in the film, and the story keeps the audience engaged till the end. He also particularly praised the song “Dabidi Dibidi”, which in his opinion was even better than the item song of Pushpa 2.
The film is worth watching on the big screen and as a mass entertainer will not disappoint the audience at all.
